AWS 2020 Social Impact Partner of the Year Award

Stratpoint Technologies, Inc. (Stratpoint) is the 2020 Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) Social Impact Partner of the Year in ASEAN for the development of the hyperlocal information-sharing mobile application, Sharea.

Each year, AWS honors partners in the AWS Partner Network (APN) that are leaders in helping customers drive innovation in their business. Through these awards, AWS recognizes APN partners that are constantly building capabilities and specializations to ensure customer success, using AWS.

“Each year, we honor AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners who are leaders in the ASEAN channel community and play key roles in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS, “ – Conor McNamara, Managing Director, AWS ASEAN

“The ASEAN APN Partner Awards recognize a wide range of born-in-the-cloud and traditional APN Consulting and Technology Partners whose business models have embraced specialization and collaboration. Their recent success is testimony to their passion and dedication to providing customers with innovative cloud solutions.”

Sharea is a mobile app from the Philippines that helps those affected by the COVID-19 crisis by leveraging the spirit of bayanihan among members of the local community. Users provide and acquire information about health, traffic, flood, service interruptions, and job openings. It has a digital bulletin board, community wall, and chat features. Information shared in the app is validated by the Sharea team to protect its users from misinformation. Through Sharea, Stratpoint provides local communities a platform where members can help each other power their way through these trying times.

Stratpoint CEO MR dela Cruz accepted the award for Stratpoint, “We’re delighted to receive the AWS Social Impact Partner of the Year Award 2020. It’s a great reaffirmation that our work is transformative and has a high impact on people’s lives and in nation-building. Thank you, AWS – this will encourage and inspire all of us at Stratpoint to continue our work helping others in their digital transformation.”

Sharea is available on the Google Play Store. For more information, visit Sharea on Facebook.
