Floyd is a 21-year veteran in the Information Technology industry specializing in start-up organizations and participates in C-level management and strategic planning for small and medium-sized companies. He has been involved in the different functional areas of sales, customer fulfillment, accounting, IT, and technical support. He has worked with IBM, AKAsia, Philippine and Scandinavian IT Services, TechFactors, and Pultorak & Associates. Floyd is the author of the internationally-published book "High Availability: Design, Techniques, Processes".

Floyd graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and is a certified ITIL practitioner.
